Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum three years of related experience in providing support to older adults.
- Satisfactory criminal-record and vulnerable-sector screens.
Responsibilities
- Oversees initial intake in a timely manner.
- Assesses risk and assigns appropriate level of service.
- Provides urgent behavioural support planning for referred individuals.
Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others in an interprofessional care team
Education
RN Diploma (BScN preferred)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Canadian Certification in Gerontology and/or Mental Health preferred
