A regional healthcare facility in Canada is seeking a Clinical RN Supervisor to enhance care quality and safety. This role demands over five years of nursing experience and aims to improve patient-centered care. Responsibilities include monitoring practice environments and serving as a clinical resource. Candidates must possess a BSN degree or expect to graduate within 24 months.
The Clinical RN Supervisor is an engaged and credentialed member of the Professional Nursing Organization and is responsible for autonomous practice directed by the professional tenets of practitioner, leader/decision maker, scientist, and transferor. The Clinical RN Supervisor is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to the improvement of care quality, safety, and value provided. The Clinical RN Supervisor will continuously monitor and evaluate practice and environment for safety concerns. Serves as a lead, clinical resource, role model, and extension of management to uphold institutional priorities, policies and practices.
Education: Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) at time of hire or degree expected within 24 months of hire.
Experience: Over five years of nursing experience required, experience with ambulatory care clinics from patient centered medical homes and care management. Strong Leadership, communication, and computer skills desired.
