Qualifications

  • 0–1 year financial experience is an asset.
  • 1-2 years administrative or audit/data entry validation experience is an asset.
  • Requires understanding of AML policies and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Complete reviews of IAS division transactions to ensure data entry accuracy.

Job description

The Risk Coordinator’s primary responsibility is completing reviews of daily IAS division transactions to ensure accuracy of data entry and receipt of authorized documentation. Duties include, quickly identifying discrepancies, recording details on daily reports, and submitting feedback to applicable stakeholders for corrections.

Collaborate with all team members to promote adherence to service standards, policies and procedures through constructive feedback and guidance.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed team service standards.
  • Validate completed IAS division transactions.
  • Identify and report discrepancies.
  • Verify payment source updates and generate EFT/Credit Card batch files.
  • Act as subject matter expert in Data Validation.
  • Actively participate in projects and team meetings.
  • Own execution of day-to-day operational activities to maintain effective and efficient service.
  • Flexible to perform various assigned tasks as requested by management and executives.

Formal Education and Experience
  • High school Diploma required.
  • Experience in Finance or related field of study is an asset.
  • 0–1-year financial experience is an asset.
  • 1-2 years administrative or audit/data entry validation experience is an asset.
Specialized Skills or Knowledge
  • Requires a thorough understanding of the Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures.
  • Beginner level with Adobe, Outlook, SharePoint, other Microsoft Office products and internet applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is an asset.
  • Entry level understanding of how the Investment Account Services Division operates.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background check is required.
