A leading visual effects studio in Vancouver is seeking a Rigging Supervisor to manage the rigging team and supervise all asset needs related to rigging and animation. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in a 3D studio, strong communication skills, and knowledge in rigging. The position offers a competitive salary and is committed to diversity.

Supervising riggers interface with production for all asset needs related to rigging and animation. Supervisors inform and deliberate on asset decisions with clients and the other department heads on the production. Supervisors manage the entire rigging team including the lead, if applicable. Supervising riggers are required in all production touchbases, rounds, and client reviews. They schedule and run internal rigging rounds as they see fit, work closely with the head of animation to establish animation style and language, set priorities and deadlines for all assets, and bid all asset work for the show.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $129,000 - $175,000/yr. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location of the position.
