Northern Strands is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail‑driven Rigger/Warehouse (Manufacturing) Labourer, whose primary responsibilities are building wire rope slings and rigging assemblies, building chain rigging assemblies, and spooling rope. Location: Regina, SK
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform or assist with building wire rope slings and assemblies
  • Perform or assist with building or filling chain orders
  • Perform or assist with reeling rope for customer orders
  • Perform or assist with restocking wire rope on racking and pallet racks
  • Prepare and pack goods to be shipped
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing lists or other documents; record shortages, and reject damaged goods
  • Operate a pallet jack, hand truck, forklift or other equipment as necessary
  • Pick items to fill customer requests from Order Desk
  • Assist with regular inventory cycle counts
  • Perform general facilities cleaning and maintenance
  • Interact courteously with customers, vendors and co‑workers, displaying professional conduct
  • Other related duties as assigned
What You Bring To The Table
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • 2+ years manufacturing experience would be preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Any valid safety‑related training certificates would be considered an asset (i.e., Forklift, First Aid/CPR)
  • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on a full‑time permanent basis
