Job summary

Canoco Energy Services is seeking skilled Rig Welders to join our team for local and out-of-town industrial work in Alberta. The role requires Journeyman Welder certification, oil & gas or industrial welding experience, and the ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages.

Ideal candidates will have strong welding, fabrication, fitting and preparation skills, experience with piping systems, and the ability to pass weld testing.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Welder certification is required.
• Oil & Gas or industrial welding experience is required.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specs and work packages.
• Proficient welding, fabrication, fitting and preparation skills.
• Experience with piping systems and components.
• Must pass weld testing successfully.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Current safety certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform local and out-of-town industrial welding assignments.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and work packages to complete tasks.

What You'll Bring

• Journeyman Welder certification

• Experience working in industrial construction, maintenance, and/or turnaround environments
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages
• Strong welding, fabrication, fitting, and preparation skills
• Experience with piping systems and associated components
• Ability to successfully complete required weld testing
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Current applicable safety certifications
