Job summary

Lindt Canada is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Store Manager for our Lindt Boutique in Vancouver Exchange Tower. You will lead daily operations, drive store sales, and uphold exceptional customer service, while mentoring staff and managing inventory and merchandising.

This is a full‑time on‑site role in Vancouver with a strong emphasis on team leadership and cost control. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of retail management experience, superb communication, and a passion for chocolate.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique.
• Generate and drive corporate sales.
• Uphold exemplary customer service by modeling behavior and guidelines.
• Monitor sales and labour to maximise profitability without sacrificing service.
• Recruit, interview, and hire Retail Sales Associates.
• Supervise staff to maximise service, sales, and profit.
• Train sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Order merchandise and supplies; manage inventory and loss prevention.
• Reconcile cash, handle daily paperwork and payroll.
• Develop knowledge of products and sales information to achieve sales goals while controlling expenses.
• Performance manage staff and contribute to reviews.
• Maintain store merchandising to company standards.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety.
• Cash handling, inventory ordering and related duties.

Job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Retail Store Manager for our Lindt store in the Vancouver Exchange Tower location. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills and a passion for sales and merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of the daily operations of Lindt Retail Boutique
• Responsible for generating and driving corporate sales
• Uphold the values of exemplary customer service through modeling of behaviour and establishing appropriate guidelines
• Monitor sales and labour issues on a daily basis with a goal to maximise store profitability without sacrificing customer service
• Recruitment, interviewing and hiring of Retail Sales Associates
• Supervision of store employees to maximise customer service, sales and profit
• Training of sales techniques and product knowledge
• Timely ordering of merchandise and supplies with focus on overall inventory management and loss prevention
• Daily reconciling of cash with sales receipts, daily paperwork and accounting, payroll and other store administration
• Develop and utilise full knowledge of all products and sales information with a constant focus on achieving sales goals while controlling expenses
• On‑going performance management of staff, assist in the preparation and delivery of employee performance reviews
• Maintain store merchandising presentation to company standards
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness and food/product safety
• Cash handling, inventory ordering and related retail administrative duties

Rewards Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $56-$70K CAD per annum with a 15% performance‑based bonus. The final agreement upon salary may vary based on market location and factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills and experience.
