Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a store leader to manage one of our Edmonton market locations. The role focuses on developing a high-performing team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales results.

You will oversee operations across multiple departments, partner with vendors and internal teams, and actions that foster an inclusive and energetic store culture. This permanent role requires on-site leadership and travel within the Edmonton area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail store management experience.
• Experience leading a large team (50+ employees) and a $30M+ store.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and managing expenses.
• Ability to lead by example on the store floor to boost engagement and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the store operation, including leading a team of leaders and advisors.
• Motivate, coach, and develop the team to help customers find the right products and services.
• Cultivate an inclusive, fun, and learning culture while achieving results.
• Monitor store KPIs (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, safety).
• Maintain healthy profit and loss and drive cost efficiency.

What you’ll do as a store manager:

• Oversee all aspects of our store, from leading a team of assistant store leaders, team leads and advisors to partnering with all areas of the business, and vendors
• Motivate, coach, develop and inspire your team to help customers find the perfect product or service
• Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun!
• Oversee store KPI's (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health and safety)
• Maintain a healthy profit and loss

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of retail store manager experience
• 5+ years of experience leading a retail team of at least 50 employees and a $30+ million big box retail store
• 5+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store
• A leader who leads by example on the floor to increase employee engagement, customer experience and revenue opportunities
• Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
• In this role you will be placed permanently in any of our Edmonton store locationsand ability to commute to those locations is required
