Job summary

Walmart Canada in Ottawa is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate to help unload trailers, process merchandise and move pallets to the sales floor, while keeping a safe and clean workspace.

You will support a positive customer experience and contribute to the store’s success in a fast-paced retail environment, with shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Minimum rate of pay starts from $17.75 per hour in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Unloading Merchandise
• Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely
• Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support
• Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization
• Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment
• Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
