Job summary

Mosaic Sales Solutions Canada Operating Co in Greater Sudbury is seeking a part-time Sales and Merchandising Representative to execute weekly program priorities across grocery and mass channels, including direct sales, upselling, and POS placement.

You will build displays, manage promotions, and maintain strong retailer relationships while traveling as needed. Ideal candidates have grocery and retail experience, a valid driver's license, and proficient Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or grocery channels.
• Grocery & mass channel experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access.
• Weekday availability 8am-5pm.
• Strong verbal communication and rapport-building skills.
• Solid presentation and objection-handling abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in territory management and travel readiness.
• Organized, independent worker with limited supervision.
• Daily internet and email use; able to submit call reports.
• Owns a computer/laptop and home internet setup; printer/scanner.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs and store POS at home.

• Negotiate Sales - selling in, call for orders, in-line orders, and incremental retailer support for promotional programs.
• Displays - negotiating and building displays on every other visit to each store.
• Develop a positive working relationship with all key retail contacts.
• Execute and deliver retail coverage as per plan for efficient and effective call frequency and length.
• Resolve or elevate store-level issues exhibiting a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Drive distribution on core items and New Innovation, sales, and share objectives.
• Possible overnight or daily travel

Part-time We are currently recruiting a results-oriented Sales and Merchandising Representative to represent our clients.

We are currently recruiting a results-oriented Sales and Merchandising Representative to represent our clients. This role offers you the unique opportunity to utilize your retail sales experience more strategically through the development of direct sales, merchandising, and POS placement. As a member of Mosaic's Campbells, B&G and Coke Nutritional Beverage (SHARED) sales team, you will be responsible for the in-store execution of weekly program priorities across grocery and mass channels. These tasks include Direct Sales, Upselling, Negotiating & Building Display, Merchandising, Promotions, tablet reporting as well as maintaining the role as key contact for our clients across all serviced stores in the defined territory. Candidates ideally will have grocery experience.

• You are highly organized, independent, and a natural solver with a knack for sales and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Sales experience
• Retail Channel experience in grocery & mass preferred but not mandatory
• Must have a valid driver's license and exclusive access to a vehicle
• Available to work on weekdays, 8am-5pm
• Highly effective verbal communication skills and the ability to develop rapport and credibility
• Effective presentation-selling skills and objection-handling techniques
• Effective Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Experienced in territory management
• Must be willing to travel (Pending territory some overnight)
• Organized, flexible with the ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Daily access to Internet and email - able to complete administrative tasks including tracking, submitting call reports, checking email regularly for new product info, updates
• Must have a computer/laptop and printer/scanner with home internet
• Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
• Must be able to store POS at home location
