Key Responsibilities
  • Sell cars and achieve sales targets with a high standard of professionalism and top-level customer service.
  • Hire, train, and support the sales team, driving high performance.
  • Direct and schedule sales team activities, ensuring proper staffing.
  • Motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
  • Oversee efforts of sales consultants to enhance dealership image and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure customer retention and profitability by recruiting qualified sales personnel.
  • Establish and enforce product-knowledge standards.
  • Conduct sales in adherence to Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) rules and regulations.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of automotive sales experience.
  • 3+ years of automotive sales management experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Professional, friendly, and customer-oriented with a strong emphasis on achieving high customer service ratings.
  • Strong computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and One‑Eighty (180) is an asset.
  • Strong time‑management skills; able to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Valid OMVIC license in good standing.
  • May be required to work Saturdays as needed.
  • Previous automotive dealer sales management experience is an asset.
