Job summary

maurices in Pembroke, Ontario, is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and help customers build wardrobes. The role also supports visual merchandising and store presentation while focusing on the customers' needs to reach sales goals.

You will guide shoppers on styling, use in-store POS and devices, and participate in omni-channel experiences such as curbside pickup. A friendly, fast-paced team environment awaits with flexible hours.

Position Overview:

What you'll do Our Part-Time Retail Sales Associates (Stylists/Sales Support) create an unforgettable shopping experience that leaves our customers inspired and feeling their best. While the primary responsibility of a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate is to deliver excellent customer service and build wardrobes; sales associates will also participate in visual merchandising and maintaining store presentation, while focusing on the customers' needs to achieve sales goals.

General Work Expectations:

• Guide the Customer through our award-winning BRAND EXPERIENCE to make authentic connections
• Customer-obsessed, leading with loyalty, confidence and product knowledge to advise style and fit, influence with moments that matter
• Cash Wrap/Cashier: use our modern store technology (ie: POS, payment systems, tablets, headsets for communication) to be well-informed on company priorities and promotions in-store and online; deliver a seamless, omni-channel shopping experience; promote our loyalty programs and credit services
• Maintain maurices' visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
• Product Flow/Shipping and Receiving: support the shipment process to gain awareness of product, what's new and what's already on the floor; contribute to the completion of omni order fulfilment processes including in-store and curbside pick-up

Position Requirements:

Pay Range:

Hourly: $17.60 - $17.80. Pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location. We will meet minimum wage or minimum of the pay range (whichever is higher) based on city, county and province requirements.
