Job summary

Canna Cabana Inc. is seeking knowledgeable, responsible Part-Time Sales Associates for its Cochrane location. Join a team focused on growth, customer service, and cannabis education.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, maintaining product knowledge, stocking, merchandising, and ensuring accurate transactions. Must hold SellSafe and be able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends. Training and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must have valid SellSafe Certification.
• Post Secondary degree / diploma preferred.
• A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Ability to work any shift including nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations.
• Experience in sales and customer service preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player mentality.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical problems.
• Attention to detail.
• Passion and excitement for cannabis and all derivatives.
• Desire to educate customers and the community about cannabis benefits without giving medical advice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare merchandise for purchase.
• Collaborate with management and staff to maximize sales and in-store presence.
• Answer calls and transfer to the Store Manager.
• Adhere to health, safety, and security regulations.
• Be available to work any shift as required.
• Housekeeping of store spaces.
• ID customers per Cannabis Retail Store Handbook.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and discuss type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
• Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories.
• Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
• Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
• Attempt to calm irate customers by explaining the situation while attempting to resolve the issue to the best of your abilities
• Take orders from customers and prepare products for purchase
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with the issue resolution as well as the resolution process itself
• Assist with display of merchandise
• Assist with inventory management
• Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures
• Participate in all manner of store maintenance
• Prepare merchandise for purchase
• Work in partnership with management and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
• Answer external and internal phone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate person or Store Manager.
• Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met
• Available to work any shift depending on Store Operation
• General housekeeping of store spaces (vacuum / sweep sales floor area, wipe down counters & glass display cabinets, etc.)
• ID customers as required by Cannabis Retail Store Handbook
• Abide by all company policies and procedures as directed by the Store/Assistant Managers

Qualifications
