Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Part-time Retail Merchandiser to service the Swift Current, SK territory. You will travel to local retailers (grocery, drug, big box) to implement merchandising plans, stock displays, audit stores, and promote brands.

Flexible schedule, 2–10 hours monthly, with an August start window. Ideal candidates have retail merchandising experience and own a device to access planograms.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience is a plus
• Ability to operate mobile devices for store visits
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to follow planograms and execute in-store setups

Responsibilities

• Visit local retailers to perform merchandising tasks for various brands
• Follow planograms, stock and straighten POS areas, build store displays
• Conduct retail auditing and promote brand awareness at stores
• Map and manage your territory based on deadlines and efficiency
• Build relationships with store managers and staff and coordinate with the Regional Supervisor

As a Part-time Merchandising Consultant for Marketsupport you will:

• Drive to various local retailers (primarily grocery, drug and big box stores) to perform merchandising assignments for a variety of nationally recognized retail brands (our clients).


• Provide merchandising services such as: following planograms, stocking and straightening up the point of sale area, building store displays, retail auditing, promoting brand awareness, selling in additional displays, and more.


• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and time efficiency.


• Build multiple key relationships with retail store managers, department heads and staff, as well as with your Regional Supervisor.


• Provide excellent customer service and always present a professional demeanor.

Requirements for this position are:

• Access to either an Android/iPhone or iPad/iPod Touch


• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile


• You may be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs


• Have steel-toe shoes or will get when required


• Retail merchandising experience is a plus

Compensation:

• Good hourly wage


• Mileage reimbursement whenapplicable
