Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Part-time Retail Merchandiser to service the Kelowna territory. You will visit local retailers, follow planograms, stock displays and promote brands on a flexible schedule.

This role offers independent fieldwork, mileage reimbursement where applicable, and an opportunity to build relationships with store managers while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail merchandising experience considered a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and clean driver’s license.
• Comfort with visiting multiple store locations and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Visit local retailers to perform merchandising assignments for national brands.
• Follow planograms, stock and straighten point-of-sale areas, and build store displays.
• Conduct retail audits and promote brand awareness; suggest additional displays when appropriate.
• Coordinate territory based on deadlines and time efficiency; maintain relationships with store staff and supervisors.
• Provide excellent customer service and present a professional demeanor.

: https://vimeo.com/206093202As a Part-time Merchandising Consultant for Marketsupport you will:

• Drive to various local retailers (primarily grocery, drug and big box stores) to perform merchandising assignments for a variety of nationally recognized retail brands (our clients).
• Provide merchandising services such as: following planograms, stocking and straightening up the point of sale area, building store displays, retail auditing, promoting brand awareness, selling in additional displays, and more.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and time efficiency.
• Build multiple key relationships with retail store managers, department heads and staff, as well as with your Regional Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and always present a professional demeanor.

Requirements for this position are:

• Access to either an Android/iPhone or iPad/iPod Touch
• Available to work during business hours (M-F, 8am to 5pm roughly)
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile
• You may be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs
• Have steel-toe shoes or will get when required
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus

Compensation:

• Good hourly wage
• Mileage reimbursement whenapplicable
