Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser to service the Fort McMurray, AB territory. The role offers flexible hours (approximately 2 to 10 hours a month) and the start date is August 17-24, 2026.

You will visit local retailers to execute merchandising tasks for national brands. Responsibilities include following planograms, stocking and ensuring displays, promoting brand awareness, and building strong relationships with store staff and your Regional Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a smartphone or tablet for job tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile are required.
• Must be able to lift 15–50 lbs and travel to local retailers.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive to various local retailers (primarily grocery, drug and big box stores) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized retail brands.
• Follow planograms, stock and straighten up the point of sale area, build store displays, retail auditing, promote brand awareness, and assist with displays.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and time efficiency.
• Build relationships with store managers, department heads and staff, as well as with your Regional Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

As a Part-time Merchandising Consultant for Marketsupport you will:

• Drive to various local retailers (primarily grocery, drug and big box stores) to perform merchandising assignments for a variety of nationally recognized retail brands (our clients).
• Provide merchandising services such as: following planograms, stocking and straightening up the point of sale area, building store displays, retail auditing, promoting brand awareness, selling in additional displays, and more.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and time efficiency.
• Build multiple key relationships with retail store managers, department heads and staff, as well as with your Regional Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and always present a professional demeanor.

Requirements for this position are:

• Access to either an Android/iPhone or iPad/iPod Touch
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile
• You may be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs
• Have steel-toe shoes or will get when required
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus
