Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Retail Inventory Specialist to manage stock levels and ensure accuracy in our Kimberley store. You will perform regular counts, analyze data, and implement procedures to improve accuracy and reduce shrinkage, contributing to financial health and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, experience with inventory software, and the ability to maintain data integrity in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control, or a similar role, preferably in retail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and accurate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential shrinkage issues.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage stockroom organization and ensure efficient stock replenishment on the sales floor.
• Process inventory adjustments and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
