Job summary

Nutrien is offering a 2027 Summer Internship (May–August 2027) in Agronomy Field Intern - Agronomy Assistant at a Nutrien Ag Solutions retail location in Canada. The role supports agronomists, conducts crop scouting and soil sampling, analyzes data, and helps run field days and grower meetings to help farmers achieve higher yields.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an Agriculture degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or later, eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world farming

Responsibilities

• Assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection.

• Assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams.

This position is for a 2027 Summer Internship from May to August 2027.

Agronomy-focused internship to learn the ins and out of a Nutrien Ag Solutions retail location. As aRetail Field Intern - Agronomy Assistant, you will assist our team of agronomists in providing full-acre solutions to our growers. This hands-on role offers a unique chance to apply your academic knowledge to real-world situations, playing a vital part in helping farmers achieve their highest yields.

• Assist agronomists with crop scouting, soil sampling, and data collection
• Interpret data to provide recommendations on fertilizers, pesticides, and other crop inputs
• Assist with the planning and execution of field days and grower meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with growers and internal teams

What You'll Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year higher education degree program in Agriculture or a related program with an interest in Agriculture
