Job summary

Clutch in Canada is seeking a Retail Advisor (Inbound Field Specialist) to greet customers at our new facility and guide them through the car-buying process. You will deliver a standout, personalized experience and handle inquiries with care, accuracy, and professionalism.

You will join a fast-growing team, requiring a 40-hour work week with a mix of weekdays and one weekend day. A Class 5 license, clean driving record, and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience in retail is asset.
• 2+ years of customer-facing experience.
• A Class 5 License with no restrictions.
• 3 years of clean driving record.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• 40 hours per week with 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients in a high-volume setting.
• Be the face of Clutch, addressing needs and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect vehicles for obvious issues and document observations.
• Complete customer paperwork accurately and log notes in the tracking system.
• Support teammates with tasks as needed.

About The Role

As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Retail Advisor (INBOUND FIELD SPECIALIST) to be the face of our company! Since our entire car-buying process is online, you'll be the first Clutch employee our customers meet when they pick up or sell their vehicle. You'll have the freedom to go above and beyond to make sure every customer has a great, unique experience in this dynamic customer and transportation role.

What You'll Do

• Delivering a uniquely special experience to each and every one of our customers inside our new facility!
• A major part of this job is having exceptional customer service skills, where you'll be the face of the company in addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction at every touchpoint.
• Need a sharp eye for detail as you inspect vehicles, carefully assessing vehicle aspects to identify potential issues outside the facility, ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to our customers.
• You will be accurately and efficiently completing customer paperwork as well as taking thorough notes in our customer tracking system.
• You'll also be a team player by assisting other team members with various tasks as necessary.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • 1+ years experience in the retail industry an asset
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• License: A Class 5 License with no restrictions
• Driving Record: 3 years of clean driver's abstract with no major infractions.
• Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. There is a 4 weekday plus 1 weekend date working schedule

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage: $21 per hour
