Job Responsibilities
  • Job site management: Oversee and coordinate restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Damage Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of damage caused by water, fire, mold, or other disasters.
  • Mitigation and Restoration: Perform and oversee mitigation tasks such as water extraction, drying, mold remediation, and fire damage cleanup.
  • Equipment Handling: Set up, operate, and maintain restoration equipment, ensuring it is used safely and effectively.
  • Required Communication: Communicate with clients/customers/PMs/PMA to explain the restoration process, address concerns, and provide updates.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, including photographs, reports, and logs of equipment usage.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: both written and verbal
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage project details and understand basic project management
  • Excellent relationship management skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with team members at all levels
  • Strong working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency with Encircle and PSA would be considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the ability to maintain digital records
  • Demonstrate ability to problem solve and make strategic decisions; ability to be creative, flexible, resourceful and adaptable to new situations and assignments
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor performance
  • Ability to work professionally and efficiently within a team environment or independently
  • Strong drive to see projects through to completion
  • Interact with executive management and boards in partnership with market leadership
  • Works closely with members of the leadership team to improve efficiencies, best practices
  • Participation in the mandatory on-call rotation
