Job summary

A well-known fast-food chain in Toronto is seeking an experienced individual to supervise food preparation, train staff, and ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include scheduling, maintaining records, and addressing customer concerns. The ideal candidate has a secondary school graduation certificate and experience in a fast-paced environment. This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

  • Experience of 1 to less than 7 months is required.

Responsibilities

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays.
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules.
