Job summary

The Canadian Brewhouse is hiring for a General Manager-style role in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will lead departmental managers and hourly staff, guiding operations, payroll, scheduling, and budgets while upholding our core values and culture.

You will drive weekly meetings, mentor teams, and push for exceptional guest experiences. A background in hospitality and strong problem-solving are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of business management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Hospitality or food and beverage experience is an asset.
• Proven strategic problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial tools – P&L, COGs, inventory.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Well-organized with strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all departmental managers and hourly employees, mentoring, coaching and leading.
• Run weekly manager meetings and ensure communication from all levels.
• Regularly communicate feedback and recognition to your team.
• Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees and managers.
• Embrace The Canadian Brewhouse values and culture.
• Ensure the interior and exterior of the building is kept to the highest standard.
• Complete payroll, place orders, create schedules, track fundraisers, and other weekly office duties.
• Review and maintain safety, sanitation and food-safe practices.
• Plan, organize and facilitate in-house and outside events; budgets and labour planning.
• Predict and analyze industry trends, budgets, purchasing, and labour.
• Expand knowledge by learning Brewhouse procedures and policies.
