Salary & Hours
$36.00 per hour, 40 hours per week, permanent full‑time. Flexible hours (early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend).
Responsibilities
- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews
- Cost products and services
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Supervise 11‑15 people
Qualifications
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 3‑5 years in a restaurant or similar environment
- Computer & technology knowledge:
- Electronic cash register
- MS Access
- MS Excel
- MS Office
- MS Windows
- MS Word
- Point of sale system
- Spreadsheet software
- Personal suitability:
- Accurate and detail‑oriented
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- Dependable, reliable, organized
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Flexible and team‑player
Other Requirements
- Budgetary responsibility: $500,001 – $1,500,000
- Transportation: Own transportation required
- Security: Bondable
- Work conditions: Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, standing for extended periods; combination of sitting, standing, walking
