Job summary

A local restaurant chain in Calgary is seeking a Restaurant Manager. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in restaurant management and be able to effectively train staff, manage budgets, and handle customer concerns. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary ranging from $36.00 to $40.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits.
  • Evaluate daily operations.
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
  • Plan and organize daily operations.
  • Train staff.
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns.
