Position: Restaurant Kitchen Helper

Location: Okotoks, AB

As a Kitchen Helper at Fazoli’s you play an essential role in supporting the kitchen team and ensuring smooth, efficient food preparation. You help maintain a clean, organized, and fast-paced work environment while delivering high-quality products to guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
  • Prepare and stock workstations with necessary supplies, condiments, and fresh ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, counters, utensils, and storage areas.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and tools throughout the shift to support continuous workflow.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as required by AHS and company policies.
  • Assist with pasta, pizzas, salads and other menu items as directed.
  • Monitor inventory of kitchen supplies and notify supervisors when items need restocking.
  • Help receive and store deliveries safely and according to FIFO procedures.
  • Support team members during peak hours, ensuring timely and accurate food output.
  • Perform closing or opening duties as assigned (cleaning stations, restocking, setting up equipment).
Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs.
