Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Restaurant Clerk at our Terra Nova location in Richmond, BC. Join an energetic, inclusive team and help provide a great in-store experience for customers.

You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, ensure the department is well stocked, and maintain a clean, safe workplace while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Share product knowledge with customers and assist with selections.
• Ensure department is well stocked and presented with fresh items.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work area; clean equipment as needed.

Open availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

IND3 Compensation Details: $18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
