Job summary

A local restaurant in Coquitlam is seeking a qualified Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Positions Available: 1

Hourly Wage: C$29.00 ~ C$37.00 (depending on a skill set)

Working Hours: 30-32.50 hours per week

Vacation: 4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties
  • Assist the owner/restaurant manager in overseeing daily operations and developing the restaurant team
  • Implement company polices and operational procedures
  • Train and motivate staff to ensure excellent food service and high customer satisfaction
  • Assist in recruiting, scheduling and overseeing staff performance
  • Monitor inventory of food, beverages and supplies, and place orders as needed
  • Review customer feedback and address customer issues professionally
  • Ensure staff compliance with health and safety regulations
Job Requirements
  • Education: Completion of secondary school
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role
  • Certificate: Serving It Right certificate
  • Language: English
