Le programme d'avions commerciaux A220 recherche responsable des opérations pour rejoindre notre équipe du contrôle de l’avion basée à Mirabel (Québec, Canada), où vous travaillerez avec une équipe multidisciplinaire et conjointement avec l'équipe de développement d'Airbus basée à Brême et Toulouse.

Vous ferez partie de l’équipe du contrôle de l’avion chargée de l’intégration et du développement de nouvelles solutions applicables aux contrôles de vol (primaires et secondaires) et systèmes hydrauliques de l’avion A220.

L'organisation de l'équipe est établie de manière à promouvoir la collaboration transversale de manière autonome, en se soutenant mutuellement et en apprenant collectivement.

Votre rôle en tant que responsable des opérations sera de contribuer à la gestion des projets majeurs du domaine responsable du contrôle de l’avion. Dans ce contexte, vous assurerez le bon déroulement des opérations des projets majeurs du domaine, conseillerez les gestionnaires du domaine, de l’ingénieur en chef et les équipes du programme, et partagerez vos recommandations avec l’équipe responsable du contrôle de l’avion.

Your challenges
  • Set‑up, agree, commit and maintain Statements of Work between the Domain and the Programme (assumptions, activities scope, budget and resource sizing)
  • Ensure overall technical integration and consistency of the domain or project deliverables
  • On critical domain deliverables, coordinate with leaders to ensure activities are executed as per Programme objectives (including coordination of Reviews when necessary or requested)
  • Secure key interdependencies with other organizations
  • Assess & report on delivery performance
  • Ensure Risks & Opportunities are managed with mitigations in place
  • End‑to‑end finance life cycle on its scope applicable to the domain or project, including: bottom‑up, budget negotiation with Programme & budget allocation, and actuals monitoring
  • Ensure consistency of Statement of Work and finance allocated target
  • Represent the Aircraft Control domain or project in relevant Programme (TRM, PRM) forums in front of Chief Engineer organization and Programme Leader
  • Provide regular reporting at Domain level, Programme Leader (regular meetings) and Programme level (Business Review)
Your profile
  • You have demonstrated leadership in the aerospace industry.
  • You hold a University degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent in a recognized University.
  • You have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • You have experience in at least one complete development cycle from preliminary design to entry into service.
  • You have experience in the sustaining phase (continuing airworthiness, safety management).
  • You have experience in management of complex planning and budget.
  • You have knowledge of the specification, design, integration, test and certification of flight control systems and its components.
  • You have knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to aircraft systems.
  • You have advanced communication skills in French and English.
  • You have advanced organizational & planning skills.
  • The position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for export controlled documents.
  • You may have to complete a competency assessment at Airbus Development Center.
Your boarding pass
  • This role may involve some travels for business (worldwide). Travel Required: Occasional travel within US and overseas.
