Job summary

Serenity Respite Inc. in Alberta is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide respite care for children and young people aged 2–17.

The role includes before-school shifts from 6:40 am to 8:40 am and after-school care from 3:10 pm to 5:30 pm, plus full days on PD days and breaks. You must drive to pick up and drop off a child from school and be able to administer medications, prepare meals, assist with personal care, and help with daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, specifically Autism and PICA.
• Knowledge of medication procedures.
• Physical ability to lift and assist.
• Strong communication and caring attitude.
• Confidentiality commitment.
