Ross Memorial Hospital (RMH) is an acute‑care community hospital located in the heart of the City of Kawartha Lakes. The hospital cares for approximately 45,000 patients per year and provides a range of services including orthopedics, ophthalmology, dialysis, and mental health programs.
Department/Unit/Program Description: Respiratory Care Practitioners work in all areas of the hospital, including the operating room, medical and surgical units, and intensive care. They possess expertise in life support systems, anaesthetic machines, and the administration of medications for breathing disorders. At RMH we offer Pulmonary Function Testing and assessments to determine the need for home oxygen units.
Position Summary: The hospital is currently seeking a Permanent Full Time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Effective Date: November 17, 2025.
Must be available to work twelve (12) hour day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday, with weekend rotation. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the OPSEU Collective Agreement.
