Respiratory Therapist - Lethbridge, AB

We are currently looking for our next amazing hire for a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Lethbridge, AB.

We are in our expansion mode and actively recruiting a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a meaningful career with lots of flexibility.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Initiate and monitor prescribed respiratory therapy at clients’ homes, including assessments, education, documentation, and follow-up for equipment performance and compliance.
  • Deliver and exchange equipment, which may involve lifting up to 60lbs and long-distance travel for home visits.
  • Conduct respiratory equipment in-service training with various community partners.
  • Perform initial oxygen set-up for discharged clients from health care facility and regular follow-up assessments for oxygen therapy.
  • Conduct in-office consultations and comprehensive sleep consultations with patients, ensuring high patient interaction and support.
  • Effective communication with Physicians, administrative staff, Managers and Directors.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required.
  • Experience or knowledge in Oxygen Therapy is preferred; familiarity with PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) Therapy is a plus.
  • Class 5 Driver’s License required.
  • Professional and friendly interpersonal skills with strong customer service values and communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, assess situations and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand various processes in a constantly changing environment.

Job type: Casual, part-time, full-time

Schedule: Flexible working hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, plus on-call

Pay: starts at $40/hr
