As a Residential Service Plumber, you will perform service, maintenance, replacement, and installation work across residential plumbing, gas, and hydronic systems. This role is ideal for a licensed Journeyman who works confidently both independently and within a team environment, takes pride in workmanship, and values professionalism, safety, and customer service. You will also play a role in mentoring apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture.
Perform residential plumbing service, replacement, and new installations.
Conduct gas service and installation work in compliance with all applicable codes.
Complete hydronic service and installation work as required.
Properly stage jobs and adhere to quality control and safety checklists.
Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried company vehicle.
Work independently or collaboratively with journeymen and apprentices.
Mentor and train apprentice plumbers.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the trade.
Ensure all work complies with plumbing, gas, and safety regulations.
Red Seal Plumbing certification (required).
B-Gas ticket or equivalent (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of plumbing service experience.
Experience with gas service and installation and hydronic systems.
Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and codes governing plumbing and gas systems.
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.
Canadian residency or valid Canadian work permit.
Hourly pay of $35–$55, based on experience.
