About the Role

As a Residential Service Plumber, you will perform service, maintenance, replacement, and installation work across residential plumbing, gas, and hydronic systems. This role is ideal for a licensed Journeyman who works confidently both independently and within a team environment, takes pride in workmanship, and values professionalism, safety, and customer service. You will also play a role in mentoring apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform residential plumbing service, replacement, and new installations.

  • Conduct gas service and installation work in compliance with all applicable codes.

  • Complete hydronic service and installation work as required.

  • Properly stage jobs and adhere to quality control and safety checklists.

  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried company vehicle.

  • Work independently or collaboratively with journeymen and apprentices.

  • Mentor and train apprentice plumbers.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current in the trade.

  • Ensure all work complies with plumbing, gas, and safety regulations.

Requirements
  • Red Seal Plumbing certification (required).

  • B-Gas ticket or equivalent (preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years of plumbing service experience.

  • Experience with gas service and installation and hydronic systems.

  • Strong knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, and codes governing plumbing and gas systems.

  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.

  • Valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.

  • Canadian residency or valid Canadian work permit.
