A governmental organization in Toronto is looking for a candidate to handle various floor installation tasks including measuring, cutting, and installing different floor coverings. Candidates should be physically capable, as the work is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads. This position requires no degree but some experience and you will work on-site without remote options.

• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience.

• Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered.
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding.
• Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors.
• Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings.
• Prepare and install hardwood floors.
• Prepare floors for installations.
• Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants.
• Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces.
