Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a Residential Care Worker for the Men's Treatment & Community Services at River Point Center in Winnipeg. The term position requires 0.40 FTE with 8-hour daily shifts and in-person work, starting 11/06/2026 and ending 09/30/2027.

CPR-C with AED and First Aid certification are required before starting. The role emphasizes client-centered care, strong communication, inter-disciplinary collaboration, and sensitivity to Indigenous populations.

Experience

• Suitable combination of education and experience working in a residential facility, addictions related employment experience and/or volunteer work.
• Experience working from a client centered perspective.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• Valid CPR-C with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training and First Aid certification are requiredprior to beginning work.

Physical Requirements

• Availability for shift work.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
