Job summary
A leading Canadian university is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to conduct essential research on historical streamflow records within the Saskatchewan River Basin. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant field and expertise in water resources modeling. The position involves collaboration with Manitoba Hydro and offers a competitive salary of $75,000 per annum for a full-term of 20 months, starting January 5, 2026.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, and/or water management.
- Applicants must be within 6 years of graduating from their PhD.
- Strong writing skills and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
Responsibilities
- Review existing water management models for the Saskatchewan River Basin.
- Develop and calibrate an RTC-Tools model for the Saskatchewan River Basin.
- Supervise an undergraduate student throughout Summer 2026.
