The candidate will work within the context of the research team at the Radiochemistry‑cyclotron Unit, McConnell Brain Imaging Centre under the supervision of the facility director and the production manager. She/he will be responsible for the production of radiotracers following the established SOPs, starting from the operation of the cyclotron to the actual radiochemistry and the final packaging. She/he will be trained on cyclotron operations, on workplace hazardous materials (WHMIS) and radiation safety. The QA and the quality control supervisor for radiotracers will also provide individual training on SOPs and GMP guidelines applicable to the production of radiotracrs. GMP training will be kept updated.
She/He will be also responsible for completing the production paperwork, shipping of radiotracers inventory of production‑related consumables, cleaning of production facility (in coordination with GMP regulations), perform environmental monitoring during production and doing maintenance and calibration of production equipment.
