Overview Of Role

We are seeking a Research Scientist to become a key player within our dynamic, diverse, and forward‑thinking R&D team to advance our circular recycling technologies, bringing strong polymer chemistry knowledge and strength in analytical characterization and data interpretation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments on advanced recycling of complex textile blends with a focus on impurity identification and treatment.
  • Provide technical guidance on chemical and materials considerations that affect process performance and product quality.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to update the relevant personnel on experimental outcomes and project progress.
  • Provide technical expertise to enhance the team’s effectiveness, cohesion and direction.
  • Ensure the completion of complex R&D projects from inception to close‑off.
Qualifications
  • To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Ph.D., or M.S. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of wet‑lab chemistry and spectroscopic analysis.
  • Proven track record of applying critical thinking to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, results‑driven solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical and strategic concepts across cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly self‑motivated with a consistent ability to work independently and take initiative in fast‑paced environments.
  • Eligibility to work legally in Canada.
