Overview

This position is part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA). In accordance with the Trust/Research Academic Staff Agreement, this position has a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $59,822 - $74,785. This position has an initial appointment of one year. Location - This role is in-person at North Campus, Edmonton. Urban Environment Observatory is a laboratory in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences engaged in multiple projects funded by Canadian tri-council research agencies, ranging from bio-products, Indigenous and human rights issues, housing and climate change.

Responsibilities

• Planning for the day-to-day operations of research project(s) or program(s), funded by multiple Canadian tri-councils, with a focus on the impacts and awareness of bioproducts in the population and plastic pollution and water quality.
