We are currently hiring two (2) Research Assistants to join our Research & Impact Unit department. Reporting to the Research Mobilization Specialist, the Research Assistants will help synthesize existing Indspire research outputs into concise, visually ready summaries for infographic production. They will support knowledge mobilization by reviewing reports, identifying key messages, and aligning summaries with Indspire’s visual template standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and summarizing past research reports.
  • Identifying and extracting key statistics, findings, and quotes for visual use.
  • Populating infographic templates (Word/PowerPoint/Canva) for hand-off to production team.
  • Maintaining summary logs and metadata for the knowledge library.
  • Supporting research communications and dashboard data tagging.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Communications, Education, or related field.
  • Strong synthesis and writing skills; attention to clarity and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with visual tools (Canva, PowerPoint, or Adobe) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
Expected Deliverables by March 2026
  • A total of 26 research infographic summaries completed and ready for design between the two assistants.
  • Metadata index and summary catalogue for internal dashboard integration.
