A reputable educational institution in Saskatchewan is looking for a Research Assistant to join the bone health research team. The role involves study coordination, participant recruitment, and ensuring ethical compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or PhD in Kinesiology or a related field and has at least 2 years of health research experience. The role offers a salary range of $53,001 - $74,217 per annum and is full-time with a term of 1 year, providing an opportunity to contribute to significant research initiatives.
Primary Purpose: We are seeking a Research Assistant/Coordinator with a “can do” attitude and strong interpersonal and organizational skills to join the bone health research team in Dr. Saija Kontulainen’s Laboratory for Bone Imaging and Structure (LIMBS), located within the College of Kinesiology. The position will primarily focus on study coordination and technical support for the Canadian Bone Strength Development Study (CanBSDS) in children with and without Type 1 Diabetes.
MSc or PhD degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences or related disciplines
At least 2 years of experience in health research
