Job description

Facilitating Multi‑Sectoral Exchange towards Urgent Policy Advocacy: Access to Health and Social Services for Uninsured Migrants (SSHRC Connections Grant) is a research assistant position that supports a Montreal and pan‑Canadian research team. The primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Participate in team meetings and receive guidance, training, and feedback.
• Coordinate logistics for the project: meetings, travel, and scheduling.
• Conduct literature reviews related to access to health and social services and effective policy advocacy strategies.
• Prepare research tools: provincial “report cards” on access to health, policy brief templates, and key fact sheets.
• Contribute to writing articles and preparing presentations for academic conferences.
• Plan reporting back to various stakeholder groups.
• Engage in other research activities related to the project as they arise.

Hourly Salary: $35.58
Hours per Week: 7 (Part time)
