Under the supervision of the Director, Consortium on Analytics for Data-Driven Decision-Making (CAnD3), provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Quebec Inter-university Centre for Social Statistics (QICSS) McGill-Concordia Laboratory and the Centre on Population Dynamics. The incumbent will also provide support regarding the financial aspect of the training program offered by CAnD3 and act as a liaison for the Centre d'accès aux données de recherche de l'Institut de la statistique du Québec (CADRISQ).
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Directly relevant experience working as an administrator in an academic/higher education environment with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted mandates. Experience managing financial budgets. Client-focused, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage with various stakeholders with tact and diplomacy. Advanced problem-solving, priority-setting, analytical and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in a PC environment, including Microsoft Suite. Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and French.
McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 4 (fluent) on a scale of 0-4.
