Job summary

The Total Group of Companies is actively recruiting a team of 12-16 Rescue Technicians for a long-term project in Saskatchewan. Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the daily tasks include planning and providing industrial rescue standby, fire prevention, instruction and medical response to clients.

Responsibilities include developing site-specific rescue plans, supporting operations, drills, equipment setup and inspections, and maintaining a safe work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and authorized to work in Canada with valid SIN.
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle required; clean/satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Confined Space Rescue, Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection certifications.
• First Aid with CPR/AED and WHMIS 2015; CSTS 2020 required.

The Rescue Teams areprimarily accountable for planning and providing industrial technical rescue standby, fire prevention, instructionand or medical response to clients of The Total Group of Companies.

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, daily task and activities include but are not limited to:

• Support rescue operations, drills, equipment setup, and inspections.
• Monitor work areas and help maintain a safe site.
• Work closely with the rescue team, site personnel, and other contractors.

Required Certifications:

• Confined Space Rescue
• Confined Space Entry
• Fall Protection
• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
• WHMIS 2015

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Additional Assets:

• Rope Rescue or High-Angle Rescue certification
• NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue certification
• Firefighter training or industrial rescue experience

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
