Note
Office space with current technology and access to necessary information will be provided in HSBC Place, Fredericton, NB for the duration of the engagement. The department is willing to consider a hybrid work environment with a mix of in-office and remote work. The proposed resource is required to work at the office in Fredericton for the duration of on boarding to the project (approximately 2 weeks).
Deliverables
The following deliverables will be the responsibility of the senior Project Manager. These include, but are not limited to:
- Project Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of project plans, requirements, decisions, and actions taken throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change / decision requests.
- Steering Committee Presentation and ToR: Create terms of reference (ToR) to support Steering Committee and project governance. Prepare and deliver presentations to the Steering Committee to provide updates on project progress, discuss key decisions, and address any issues or risks that require their attention.
- Team Management: Management of internal and external project resources;
- Project Status Reporting: Monitor and report progress against project plan, progress tracking, resource tracking (including business SMEs), lead regular project status meetings;
- Budget and Resourcing: Plan and monitor project budget;
- Issue/Risk Management: Monitor and report on issue prioritization, risks and mitigation/resolution process;
- Multi-stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate and engage with both internal and external stakeholders including the RHAs, DH, SNB, Vendor(s), other DH branches, including non-clinical and clinical stakeholders;
- Change Management: Provide insight regarding various Change Management activities, including adoption / change management strategies, communications, stakeholder engagement, etc;
- Facilitation: Develop materials and lead / facilitate various workshops with stakeholder groups;
- Operational Framework Development: Develop Operational Program Framework through consultation with impacted stakeholders to ensure thorough transition from project to operations;
Requirement Detail/Qualifications
- Formulates statements of management, scientific and business problems, establishes procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new or modified computer systems to solve these problems, and obtain approval thereof.
- Defines and documents the objectives for the project, determines budgetary requirements, the composition, roles and responsibilities, and terms of reference for the project team.
- Manages the project during the development, implementation and operations start up by ensuring that resources from all service areas are made available
- Reports progress of the project on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the sponsors of the project.
- Evaluates proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, functional adequacy, and estimated costs for implementation and operation.
- Meets in conference with program managers and other cognizant officials and states problems in a form capable of being solved.
- Prepares plans, charts, tables and diagrams to assist in analysing or displaying problems. Works with a variety of scientific, business or engineering tools requiring a sound knowledge of mathematics and management sciences.
- Must have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, analysts and programmers.
