Job summary

Teladoc Health Laval is seeking a Service Technician responsible for upkeep and preventive maintenance of equipment and compressors, under the supervision of the Operations Director.

The role involves travel to customer sites, coordinating with customers, performing diagnostics, repairs, and contributing to safety and quality standards. Valid driver’s license and bilingual French-English are required.

Qualifications

• DEP in industrial mechanics or electromechanics.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the compressed air sector is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Bilingual French and English, able to read technical documentation.
• Independent with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Determine and prepare equipment for customer site travel.
• Inform customers about work on equipment.
• Ensure supplies are available to complete projects.
• Maintain and service equipment and compressors.
• Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace bearings.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and address high-temperature oil leaks.
• Complete work orders and document on computer.
• Respond rapidly to emergency calls at customer sites.
• Maintain company quality standards.
• Collaborate with team and exchange information.
• Occasionally ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
• Maintain company rolling stock (trucks).
• Perform any other related tasks.

MAIN TASKS

Daily Duties

• Determine and prepare the equipment needed to travel to customer sites;
• Inform customers of work being performed on equipment;
• Ensure that supplies are available to complete projects;
• Ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and compressors;
• Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace ball bearings;
• Perform electrical diagnostics and high-temperature oil leaks;
• Complete work orders for work performed on the computer;
• Ensure a rapid response to emergency calls at customer sites;
• Participate in maintaining company quality standards;
• Work with the team to ensure the exchange of information and knowledge;
• Collaborate and provide support to coworkers;
• Participate in weekly team meetings;
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers;
• Occasionally ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers;
• Maintain the company's rolling stock (trucks);
• Perform any other related tasks.

REQUIREMENTS

• DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in industrial mechanics or electromechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the compressed air sector (a asset);
• Hold a valid driver's license;
• Functional bilingualism in French and English (reading technical documentation)
• Be independent and able to work without much supervision;
• Ability to manage priorities and ensure effective time management;

CONDITIONS

Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
