TJX Canada is seeking a Reporting & Analytics Specialist on a 1-year contract to transform data into actionable insights across TJX Canada stores. You will develop reporting and data visualization solutions using BI tools and collaborate with multi-functional teams in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of BI reporting / data analyst experience.
• Post secondary degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Business Management preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task under time pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for internal/external partners.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify data elements and dashboards.
• Maintain the data repository to track productivity and KPI metrics.
• Develop automation processes (RPA) for high-quality components.
• Manage department reporting across various cadences (annual, monthly, weekly, daily).
• Explore opportunities to improve BI through reporting, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Investigate and reconcile data issues to ensure accuracy and documented processes.
• Perform user testing and provide training for store reporting processes.

We’re looking for a Reporting & Analytics Specialist, 1 year contract to play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that support decision-making across all TJX Canada stores. What You’ll Do

• Partners with business stakeholders, including Global Continuous Improvement and IT partners to identify key data elements and systemic integrations required to create and deliver impactful reporting and dashboards using Excel, Access, Power BI and other tools as necessary.
• Enhance and maintain the data repository to effectively track productivity, production and KPI-related metrics.
• Develop Intelligent Automation (primarily RPA) processes using design and coding procedures to build high-quality components and solutions.
• Responsible for managing department reporting (annual, monthly, quarterly, weekly, daily); designs, builds, maintains, and publishes reports to meet business needs.
• Researches and finds opportunities to improve process efficiencies and deliver better business intelligence through reporting, including but not limited to: RPA, Power BI and Power Automate solutions.
• Investigates and reconciles all data related issues to ensure that the population of the data within the repository is timely, accurate and all processes are clearly documented and defined.
• Performs user testing on new reports and reviews reports/applications to evaluate effectiveness and readiness before roll-out to the report end users; delivers end user training and ongoing support for Store reporting processes and modeling tools.

About You

• Minimum two (2) years business intelligence reporting / data analyst experience required.
• Post secondary degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Business Management preferred.
• Proven problem-solving skills including analysis of information and research skills with Knowledge of design/manipulation concepts.
• Strong organizational skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, and multi-task with limited supervision and under time pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners / team members; including efficiently and effectively responding to inquires or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills, creates understandable visual representations to communicate complex concepts and models for various target audiences, simplifying business insight.
