A leading Canadian retail company is seeking a Replenishment Analyst to manage inventory and purchase orders. Replenishment Analyst
Workplace Arrangements:
This role will follow a fully remote schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work from home 5 days a week and the applicant can work out of the Montreal Buying Office, or the Ottawa Home Office as per their preference.
Consistently execute Replenishment Purchase order and inventory management processes with excellence
Execute and recommend actions on ad hoc business requests
Maintain efficient in stock levels by analyzing forecast, creating AR (Assisted Replenishment) and R&R (Reserve and Repeat) purchase orders, coordinating with vendors to meet MAB dates to have accurate levels of inventory available mitigating any inventory sell-offs due to perishability or seasonality
Maintain accurate and sustainable dates for POG (Planogram) releases.
Advise stakeholders of any inventory shortages for future events and draft correction notice for the stores to post
Maintain accurate PO CFS (Container Freight Station) /MAB (Must Arrive By Date)/ distro dates
Maintain dates and cancel PO/backorders as needed
Knowledge of of Order Management and Forecasting & Replenishment related work practices and principles
1-3 years of relevant work experience
University or college education in the field of Supply Chain or Business/Retail.
Formal Order Management and Forecasting & Replenishment training and/or education an asset, as well as broader knowledge of Supply Chain functions
Business/financial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to identify issues & opportunities for improvement in current state processes & tools.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines with acceptable quality
Excellent cross-functional partnership skills
Flexibility to travel to DCs, stores and vendors as required
Proficiency in French an asset
$58,400.00 - $87,600.00
What Giant Tiger Offers: The salary range for this position is listed above. Giant Tiger will consider factors such as experience, skills and internal equity to ensure you are paid competitively.
