Under the general supervision of the Department Manager, the Repatriation Technician & Curator oversees departmental collections and maintains electronic and hard copy collections catalogues. The position supports faculty research in relation to preparation of publications and presentations. The position supports the department in the process of facilitating the repatriation and restitution from the department’s collections. The Repatriation Technician & Curator supports laboratory-based teaching by maintaining and facilitating the safe and efficient use of department laboratory and field equipment. The Repatriation Technician & Curator oversees the collections use by students and outside researchers in accordance with department and university practices and procedures.
