Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for a Beloeil-based client specializing in heavy machinery transport. The role focuses on dispatch and coordination between drivers, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient, compliant transports.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a salary between 60k and 70k, full benefits, and growth opportunities. You will oversee documentation, driver assignments, and client communications throughout each project.

Qualifications

• 3 years' relevant experience in logistics or dispatch.
• Experience working for a trucking company is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams to coordinate transports.
• Assign drivers and road escorts and issue necessary instructions.
• Gather required transportation documents before departure and transmit to drivers.
• Maintain communication with drivers on the road and provide support as needed.
• Follow up with clients to answer questions and update progress.
• Manage unforeseen issues and resolve them promptly.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator. Industry: Road transport of heavy, oversized equipment and wind turbines. Our client, specialized in heavy machinery transport and located in Beloeil, is expanding their team and is looking for an experienced dispatcher who will also support the logistics team.

Full-time

Location: Beloeil. Industry: Road transport of heavy, oversized equipment and wind turbines. Salary is between 60k and 70k.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between drivers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring each transport request under their responsibility is carried out efficiently and in compliance with operational requirements and health and safety standards.
• Assign drivers and road escorts to projects and communicate necessary instructions to them;
• Gather all required transportation documents (e.g., transit permits, forms, etc.) and ensure they are complete, up-to-date, and transmitted to drivers before departure;
• Maintain communication with drivers and road escorts while they are on the road and support them as needed;
• Follow up with clients throughout the project to answer their questions and keep them informed of progress;
• Manage unforeseen issues and ensure prompt and effective resolution;
