Repair Technician - Guitars

Hours: Full-time permanent

Availability Required: Weekdays & Weekends

Location: 4902 53 St, Red Deer, AB

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to musical instruments or gear that was purchased from Long & McQuade
  • Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to musical instruments or gear from our store demo stock and rental inventory
  • Use our common sense approach with customers to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Answer telephone calls and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and detailed computer records of all active repairs
  • Follow up on parts orders with suppliers
  • Assist co-workers in tracking repair related shipments to and from the store
  • Maintain a clean and organized workplace
Qualifications
  • Must have previous experience and training in the repair of musical instruments or gear
  • Proven strong work ethic and commitment
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
